CITTA welcomes endorsement of Triangle plans

Managing Director of CITTA, Stephen McMillan has welcomed the endorsement of the revised St Kilda Triangle Development Plan by the City of Port Phillip.
Mr McMillan said that over the past six months CITTA and its architects, ARM, had been hard at work revising the Development Plan in accordance with the Council decision of February 7.
“The revised Plan delivers more open space, even better views of the sea, less retail and a more diverse and family friendly mix of entertainment options.
“St Kilda is a popular and dynamic place and we look forward to delivering on the plan and helping to make it even better.
“The City of Port Phillip has a range of exciting projects for the foreshore, projects which will contribute to the rejuvenation of the area around the triangle. There is no doubt that with 18,000 sqm of open space, a rejuvenated Palais and the Linden II, the Triangle will fit right into St Kilda.
“CITTA looks forward to moving ahead and we call on opponents of the project to commence whatever legal action they intend to take,” Mr McMillan concluded.
