In a 50/50 joint venture with Australand, Citta has developed a new Melbourne inner city precinct. Parkville Gardens comprises some 1000 dwellings of various types including detached housing, townhouses and apartments.

The first stage of Parkville Gardens provided the accommodation for the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Athletes Village.

The Games Village project integrated the diverse needs of many stakeholders, including Major Projects Victoria, Office of Commonwealth Games Coordination, M2006 and the Department of Human Services. 200 of the 1000 dwellings were for various forms of Social Housing. These diverse objectives were also integrated into the needs of the end residents. Parkville Gardens addresses heritage integration issues and a high expectation of environmental excellence. Citta has played the leadership role in the development of this project with the projects senior management all being Citta employees.
